Why Camden?
While many PMF projects are international, we are also committed to bringing disc golf to major U.S. cities. Green space is rare in dense urban areas, but working with the Camden Kroc Center allowed us to find the space we needed and partner with an organization already dedicated to youth recreation. This project brings disc golf to a region with very little prior exposure to the sport.

About this Project
Our second U.S. project took place in Camden, New Jersey, in partnership with the Salvation Army’s Camden Kroc Center. Their mission is to serve as a beacon of hope and a place where opportunity meets potential, offering top-quality recreational facilities to communities that otherwise would not have access.

We installed a 9-hole course on the Kroc Center’s 24-acre property, making it available to both program participants and the surrounding community. Already serving youth and families in powerful ways, the Kroc Center can now add disc golf to its list of resources for Camden residents.
