The Global

The Global

One day of tournaments. A world of impact.

The Global is a one-day worldwide disc golf tournament designed to unite players across continents for something bigger than competition.

On September 19, 2026, disc golfers around the world will gather at local courses to compete in PDGA-sanctioned C-Tier events under one shared identity. Each event is hosted locally, but every player is part of a unified global movement expanding access to disc golf worldwide.

Your participation directly supports the mission of the Paul McBeth Foundation — creating sustainable disc golf experiences in underserved communities with limited or no access to the sport.

The Global is a coordinated, single-day worldwide disc golf fundraiser designed to unite players across continents through competition to expand access to disc golf globally.
September 19, 2026.
The Paul McBeth Foundation is hosting this event in partnership with the Professional Disc Golf Association, Discraft, House of Discs, and other valued sponsors.
The Global will reinforce the foundation’s mission to provide additional access to the sport of disc golf by funding future PMF installations while celebrating the global growth of the sport.
We expect between 100 and 200 events worldwide, including tournaments across the United States, Canada, Europe, and other international regions.
We expect more than 5,000 players to compete across all Global events.
The Global is a coordinated international event series where players compete locally while participating in a global competition. Scores and round ratings from all events will be compared across divisions, and prizes will be awarded for the highest rated rounds worldwide. Players also participate knowing their entry directly supports the Paul McBeth Foundation’s mission.
Yes. The Global is designed as a worldwide event series, meaning tournaments will take place both inside and outside the United States. International PMF project sites are also encouraged to host events as part of the series.
Yes. A global leaderboard will be available through the Professional Disc Golf Association website, displaying scores and round ratings across all participating events and divisions.
A portion of every registration directly supports the Paul McBeth Foundation’s work to install disc golf courses and expand access to the sport around the world. Registration funds are processed centrally through PMF, allowing for transparent reporting of the event’s total fundraising impact.
Players can register for individual tournaments through DiscGolfScene, where each participating event will have its own registration page.
Professional divisions: $50
Amateur divisions: $40
Divisions will follow standardized PDGA divisions across all events to ensure consistency for the global leaderboard and competition.
No, you do not have to be a PDGA member to register, and there is no fee for non-PDGA participants.
Each registered player will receive a premium player pack including:
  • Two custom stamped event discs
  • Custom Brixton card
  • PMF DiscGolfPin
  • PMF stickers
  • Full-color custom towel
Yes. Professional divisions will follow standard PDGA payout guidelines for C-Tier events with $35 per player being paid out to players.
Player packs and logistics will require registration caps, so once an event reaches capacity it will close registration. Players are encouraged to register early.
Tournament Directors can apply to host an event through the Paul McBeth Foundation once TD registration opens.
The deadline to host an event in this series is August 1, 2026.
Yes. Events must be run by a PDGA-certified Tournament Director in order to host a sanctioned event.
All events will be PDGA-sanctioned C-Tier tournaments using the Competition Endowment Program (CEP) classification.
Tournament Directors will receive:
  • Event setup guidance
  • DiscGolfScene templates
  • Branding and communication assets
  • Centralized payment processing
  • Post-event reporting support
  • A per-player stipend to offset event costs
PMF will provide event branding, graphics, communication templates, and promotional assets to help Tournament Directors promote their events locally.
All events will use DiscGolfScene for registration, with payments processed centrally through the Paul McBeth Foundation.
All player registration funds are processed through PMF’s PayPal system. This ensures consistent accounting, transparency, and accurate global fundraising totals.
Player packs will be fulfilled by Ledgestone and delivered to Tournament Directors the week prior to the event.
Tournament Directors will still be responsible for:
  • Securing the course and permits if needed
  • Managing the event locally
  • Running check-in and player meetings
  • Managing scoring and event flow
  • Submitting results to the PDGA
Events can still proceed even if they do not reach their player cap. The fundraising impact will simply reflect the number of registered players.
Yes. Tournament Directors will receive:
  • An $8 per-player stipend to help offset event costs
  • TDs may elect to donate their stipend back to PMF
  • Exclusive PMF Tournament Director gear
  • Recognition through PMF and partner channels
Scores from every event will be submitted to the PDGA, which will generate round ratings across all divisions. A global leaderboard will allow players to compare their performance with others worldwide.
Tournament Directors should follow standard PDGA policies regarding delays or cancellations due to weather.
Because The Global is designed as a single-day worldwide event, rescheduling is generally discouraged. In the case of extreme circumstances, TDs should coordinate with PMF and the PDGA.
Player capacity will depend on course size, logistics, and player pack availability.
Players who request a withdrawal prior to the start of their event will receive a full refund minus a $5 donation to the Paul McBeth Foundation and any other donations given during registration, which supports expanding access to disc golf worldwide.
You can support The Global by:
  • Sharing event registration links
  • Encouraging friends and club members to register
  • Promoting the event through social media and local disc golf groups
Local clubs and leagues can support their nearest event by:
  • Encouraging members to register
  • Helping volunteer during the tournament
  • Promoting the event in their local disc golf community
Event photos, highlights, and fundraising updates will be shared through the Paul McBeth Foundation website and social media channels.
