Paul McBeth Foundation Launches Global Fundraiser Throw for More

Posted Tue, Jul 22, 2025 in Latest News

The Paul McBeth Foundation (PMF) is excited to announce the launch of Throw for More, a one-day global disc golf fundraiser taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, the final day of summer. This event invites disc golfers from around the world to play as many holes as they can in a single day while raising funds to expand disc golf access in underserved communities.

Modeled after walk-a-thons and endurance challenges, participants in Throw for More gather pledges from friends and supporters—either per hole played or as a flat donation. Every throw helps fund new course installations, equipment, and education efforts in regions where disc golf has little or no presence.

In a unique show of support, UDisc has partnered with PMF, pledging to donate $0.10 for every round logged in their app on September 20. PMF aims to break the standing UDisc record of 116,000 rounds played in a single day and is calling on the global disc golf community to help surpass 120,000 rounds.

“We believe disc golf has the power to transform lives,” says Paul McBeth, 6x World Champion and founder of the foundation. “Throw for More is a chance for anyone—anywhere—to make a real difference just by doing what they love: playing disc golf.”

Fundraising goals for this inaugural event include:

  • 500+ participants

  • $15,000+ raised from pledges

  • 120,000 rounds logged worldwide

Participation is free and open to players of all skill levels. Prizes will be awarded to top individual fundraisers, clubs, and tournament directors. All participants are automatically entered into a raffle for exclusive items.
