About this Project

In 2026, the Paul McBeth Foundation successfully installed the first permanent disc golf course in the Dominican Republic at Parque Central de Santiago. In partnership with BLUE Missions and local leaders, the project was a big success providing access to a community that has never played disc golf previously. Together, this installation was designed to introduce the sport, create consistent access, and support long-term growth through education and community engagement. Beyond this first course, another 9 hole permanent course is planned within the next year at another location within the city.

Why Santiago de los Caballeros?

As the second-largest city in the Dominican Republic, Santiago offers a unique opportunity to reach a large and growing population with limited access to the sport. Parque Central alone sees thousands of daily visitors, providing immediate visibility and accessibility. With the support of BLUE Missions’ established presence in the region, Santiago is positioned to become a hub for disc golf development in the Caribbean and beyond.
