Project: La Paz, Mexico

Project Partner: Dyanmic Discs Logo

About this Project:

The first Paul McBeth Foundation project was completed in May of 2021 in La Paz, Mexico.

La Paz is the capital of Baja California Sur, a Mexican state on the Baja California Peninsula. For this project we partnered with Dynamic Discs and Jomez to install an 18-hole course on the property of Rancho El Camino, a location that is easily accessible to people within the city and is utilized throughout the year.

Make sure to read our project recap for more information and a behind the scenes look at how this project came together!

Why La Paz?

Paul’s grandfather was the first of his siblings to be born in the United States, and as the vision came together for the foundation, installing a course in Mexico was a high priority. When we learned that the ranch is utilized primarily by teenagers – many of whom are living in material poverty – we felt like this would be a great fit for our first project. We also see a strong possibility for growth in this area and view this course as just the beginning.
